You’ve written a blog post you know your reader will love and you’re ready to hit publish, but wait.
Before you actually hit the publish button take a minute and think about what you want your readers to do when they’re done ready the post. Here are a few options you might consider:
- leave a comment
- share the post on social media
- read another post
- subscribe to your email list
- purchase something, either your own product or an affiliate product
It’s called a Call to Action (CTA) and usually comes toward the end of your blog post. It doesn’t have to be complicated, it should be clear and convincing. Sometimes you want to push hard and get a little aggressive, but most of the time, keep it easy and casual. Let’s run through a few CTA examples.
Ask Them to Comment
